Weekly Moment

My first full week of college life and I’ve learned a few things; don’t buy drinks in the cafeteria a dollar sixty for 12 ounces? No. Get drinks from vending machines, same for food it’s quite pricey. Next up are books, wow want to save like seventy-five bucks? Buy them used at Mando’s bookstore, not the college bookstore. Also, as a particular teacher keeps reminding me, SIGN YOUR E-MAILS (caps lock is cruise control for cool) it helps the teachers know who is e-mailing them and allows them to have a full conversation with you instead of just “who is this?”

            Other than the advice you’ve just received my college experience has been a bit shaky at the start. Couldn’t write so I needed a computer to take notes, challenging getting used to the amount of homework, and to top it off I got way sick on one of my first days. And in my class Comm 120 that’s strike one, two more and I fail straight out. I don’t think I’ll miss anymore of that class though, it’s pretty awesome. I played a game of chess with a complete stranger too, I believe he’s on the basketball team and let me say, He’s pretty good at chess.

            Also out of the couple thousand people that attend TC3 I see some of the people I know from high school. I’ve already seen O.V.’s greatest basketball player David Cerasani and one of my good friends who graduated with me Weylin Schloth. I got to say it’s going to be a pretty decent year, just got to hangout and meet new people.
